The technological center of Pietrelcina and Smarter Italy

There are very interesting developments after the signing of the memorandum of understanding between Dotvocal, Happily, and the Fos Group with the municipality of Pietrelcina for the construction of a technological hub, open to industry experts, universities and start-ups.
Following the signing of the protocol, the municipality of Pietrelcina has been included among the villages that have joined the ‘Smarter Italy’ program promoted by the Minister of Economic Development Stefano Patuanelli, the Minister of University and Research Gaetano Manfredi, and the Minister for ” Technological innovation and digitalization Paola Pisano, to create innovative services in the sectors of mobility, the environment, citizen well-being, and culture.
Pietrelcina will thus become one of the “Villages of the Future”, Municipalities whose territories will be laboratories for experimenting with frontier technologies applied to services for citizens.
The companies that have joined the selection will be made available a total amount of 90 million euros for the development of innovative solutions, not present on the market and designed to meet the needs of municipal administrations to help small villages, where new technologies, products, and innovative services can be an important aid to recovery.
